Welcome to safe haven

My name is Lisa Ecker. I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker in the State of Utah. I am passionate about adoption. I offer adoption home study and post placement visits and reports. I focus all my time on adoption services, rather than splitting my time between jobs. I call my services “A Safe Haven Utah Adoption Home Study Services” because I believe that every child deserves to grow and thrive in a safe environment. I can take birth parent relinquishments and I will release the home study to any licensed placing agency, attorney or adoption facilitating agency.

I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker in the State of Utah, and I have the necessary license and certification to complete Utah adoption home studies and pre and post adoption placement reports that are required by the courts to complete and finalize adoptions. My home studies will pass all Interstate Compact (ICPC) requirements.

My qualifications and experience are as follows:

• 13 years working as both a caseworker (Adoption Practitioner) and as the Director of Social Work in adoption agencies.
• Over 150 Home Studies successfully completed.
• I have parented many adopted children over the course of 30 years.
• I have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Weber State University, as well as a Master's Degree in Social Work from Utah State University.
